With rather more ‘known unknowns’ affecting the Yorkshire economy than usual - notably EU Referendum, Northern Powerhouse, the steel crisis to name just three - Consult Yorkshire are pleased to invite you to this seminar at which The Bank of England’s local agent Juliette Healey will update us with their latest thinking on the national and regional economy.
Juliette's role is to act as the Bank's “eyes, ears and voice” in Yorkshire and the Humber, collecting information about trends and developments across the region, and explaining the Bank’s policy decisions to local businesses, industry and labour groups. So, after Juliette’s presentation our Chairperson will be inviting questions, responses and lively discussion - indeed you are invited to pre-table a question should you wish with your booking.
The event is kindly hosted by St Philips Chambers, 41 Park Square, Leeds and supported by the Bank.
A buffet breakfast is offered from 8 am, with Juliette’s presentation starting at 8:30.
We are expecting heavy demand for the limited number of places for this event and recommend prompt booking. Additionally, Bank staff will enter purdah restrictions in respect of the MPC meeting and referendum soon after this event.
We look forward to welcoming you to this Consult Yorkshire event.
