PFS provide specialist consultancy to clients, on hard & soft services for new build and refurbishment projects within both the Public and Private sectors, with a particular emphasis on occupancy management and energy performance, through the utilisation of high efficiency plant, intelligent building systems and building fabric improvement.

In addition all related energy costs of operation are considered such as staff travel, supplier proximity, business waste, equipment disposal, to ensure maximum sustainability across all the client’s activities.

Our approach is to spend sufficient time within the client’s operation to fully understand their activities and identify the building type, the operational zones, heating, ventilation, lighting, cooling, utilities provision, to match their business needs and constraints and identify alternative solutions with any cost, time and physical limitations well defined.

We carry out analysis of metered utilities and other consumables with calculations to determine the most economically viable and sustainable course of action to achieve operational efficiencies within the client’s premises and across the whole of their business activity including sourcing materials, staffing, equipment and importantly, matching the occupancy parameters of time and temperature to minimise environmental and carbon impact and in turn, reduce operational costs.

Through carrying out whole building energy surveys and producing Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports we are able to provide targeted, visual operational ratings with recommendations so that ‘year on year’ performance can be quantified and improved.
